Terms of Service

The service

Voice Arc converts speech to text. We provide it through a website, a desktop application, and a browser extension. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Your account

You are responsible for the security of your account and for everything done through it. Do not share your credentials or your API tokens. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

You must be at least 18, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• •Use the service to transcribe audio you do not have the right to record or process.
• •Attempt to circumvent usage limits, resell access, or share a single account across an organisation in place of buying seats.
• •Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
• •Use the service for anything unlawful.

Plans, billing and renewal

The free plan includes 5,000 words per month. New paid plans cost ₹139 per month, or ₹90 per month billed annually as a single ₹1,080 payment. Payments are processed by Razorpay. Existing subscriptions keep their agreed price unless a change is communicated and authorised.

New monthly and annual subscriptions use Razorpay AutoPay after you authorise the recurring mandate at checkout. They renew at the interval and amount shown during checkout until cancelled or the mandate completes. Previous one-time purchases do not automatically become recurring subscriptions. You can cancel AutoPay from your billing page; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.

Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Your content

You keep all rights to your audio and to the text produced from it. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process audio, return transcription, apply your saved vocabulary and, when you enable history, store transcripts for your account.

Liability

The service is provided as is. Transcription is automated and will sometimes be wrong; do not rely on it unchecked where accuracy is critical. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why unless prevented by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
